Hallam Oaks Pty. Ltd.

Hallam Oaks is a small software and hardware engineering firm located in Melbourne, Australia. We specialise in embedded systems, real-time control, and Telecommunications/IP. We have kernel-level experience on a variety of operating systems including Windows, Linux and QNX. Software we have designed and written can be found running in diverse environments ranging from embedded controllers the size of a thumbnail to CTC systems on freight railways and process controllers in billion dollar steel mills.

Established in 1990, our primary engineer started his career in the early 1980's working on PDP-11 based HVAC/BMAC systems running RSX-11M. He also was an early adopter of the World Wide Web; a server he set up in 1994 (which we still manage today) was among the first 5,000 web sites on the internet.

We also occasionally take prototypes of devices we have designed for customers into full production, though generally speaking we like to leave that part to the companies that specialize in volume

We don't list contact information here as we obtain all our work via word-of-mouth and are not taking on additional clients at this time. This site exists primarily for customer support.
